as of this writing, winter, 2024, our studio is nearly 2 years old. in the course of that year we’ve recorded entire albums for both Jana Horn and Diamond Grinder. Jana’s LP wound up on several year-end best-of list, including the NY Times! congrats, Jana. 

during that nascent stage we also did some remote work and overdub sessions for/with Miles Hewitt, White Denim, Thor Harris (formerly of Swans) and Dorian Wood, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Chakourah (aka Alecia Chakour), our own Sarah La Puerta, plus portions of the film score for the award-winning documentary Fragments of Paradise, not to mention some writing for/with Kevin Morby.

freshly out and/or coming soon from our recent work here is the debut of The Hypos feat Scott McMicken (Dr. Dog) & Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound, The Black Keys), as well as a brand new record from Dr. Dog themselves, out later this year. you can also expec the debut of Mallets Meats Modular, and even more from White Denim and Diamond Grinder, all recorded in part or in full here at Pale Moon, and last but not least is the much-anticipated posthumous full length by our patron saint, Bernie Worrell, Master of the Wooniverse, produced by Evan Taylor and due soon on Org Music.
